About Me
Hey there! I’m Monchu—an architect by trade, a retired web developer by experience, and a lifelong explorer of Indonesian traditional martial arts. This blog is my little corner of the internet where I share the things that move me, challenge me, and keep me curious.
Over the years, I’ve worn a few different hats: designing spaces, building websites, and teaching martial arts rooted in deep cultural tradition. But these days, I’m more focused on the inner journey—spiritual growth, reflection, and the kind of wisdom that doesn’t come from textbooks.
I’m also big on creativity and the outdoors. You’ll find me sketching, listening to music, or out riding my motorbike, pedalling through nature on my bicycle, hiking up trails, or just walking to clear my head. These hobbies aren’t just pastimes—they’re part of how I stay connected to the world around me.
This blog is where all those threads come together. Whether I’m writing about a spiritual insight, sharing a memory from my martial arts path, or posting photos from a weekend ride, it’s all part of the same story: a life lived with intention, curiosity, and a touch of adventure.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
